Kirsty Hulm is a Melbourne-based artist working in installation, incorporating many different approaches to practise, working with, neon, drawing, text, painting, photography and sculpture.
Kirsty's practise centres around dealing with specific exhibition sites, manipulating her exploration of anxiety and social relationships to interact intimately with each space.
Kirsty played a key role in the 2008 Next Wave Festival, being involved in many high profile exhibits, including her own neon text work, 'Imagine Me & You, i Do,' displayed on St Paul's Cathedral, Flinder's St. Currently Kirsty is working towards 'Too Much of Me: 7 Paths Through the Absurd, With Detour,' opening in April at the Monash University Museum of Art, also featuring the work of Stuart Ringholt, Erwin Wurm, Ronnie van Hout and Buster Keaton (to name a few).
Kirsty is also open to offers of dates.
