Ryan and Melanie graduated with honours from Bachelor of Design, Fashion at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2007. As firm friends, Melanie and Ryan assist each other in their solo projects and are glad to have the opportunity to collaborate on a small collection of one off pieces made from new and recycled materials, to be available exclusively at Penthouse Mouse 2009.
Ryan is currently employed by the MATERIALBYPRODUCT studio and recently completed placement in Los Angeles at luxe ready-to-wear label Rodarte.
Melanie was the recipient of the 2008 Alice Euphemia - Most Promising Student Award and has presented her work at both the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Independent Runway and as a capsule collection during Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
