Jamie Boys

After completing a Diploma of Arts (Visual Arts) at RMIT, Jamie went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Painting at the Victorian College of the Arts, during this time he spent 5 months in 2002 on a study exchange at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada.
Jamie exhibits regularly in Melbourne and Sydney as well as Internationally. Jamie has shown at OFF THE WALL - Art Melbourne and Renault’s NEW GENERATION at Art Sydney. In 2011, he was selected as winner of the Corangamarah Art Prize and 2010 he was selected as winner of the BSG Works on Paper Acquisitive Prize.

Jamie is a multi-disciplinary artist focusing on video based installation work, combining sculpture, paintings and drawing.
