Limedrop

Limedrop’s Autumn Winter 2011 The Lake House Collection heads back to nature.

Evoking memories of grassy woodlands, campfire settings, of natural bush landscapes and the rugged terrine.

The collection is multi layered consisting of shift dresses, floaty skirts, slim pants, culottes, and wide tail shirts and cropped jackets. In addition Limedrops signature prints in the form of a geometric pattern and animal motifs, creates a vibrancy that is a highlight within the range.

With winters colour palate consisting of emerald greens, smokey greys, ruby reds, through to burnt orange and earthy browns. Silks provided a luxurious feel with twill, wools, textured jerseys, cotton and linens rounding off the line.

The Lake House collection is a modern way of dressing with its rich tapestry of shapes, colours and styles.

Limedrop captures the spirit of possibilities, delivering playful designs
with a focus on clean lines, interesting proportions and an innovative
approach to print and colour. Each collection speaks of a unique
concept and an ever expanding range yet respects past collections and classic styling. This year is set to see the label take the next step with many eyes in the fashion industry fixed on Limedrop.

Limedrop is quickly becoming known as a label that strays from the
norm, injecting a sense of fun into each collection while remaining
mindful of classic styling. Known for their use of juxtaposed
proportions, combining fitted and loose shapes, the label often
challenges masculine and feminine silhouettes and experiments with
colour in both prints and colour blocking. Tailored pieces are mixed
with more casual pieces to create collections that transcend function to complement any wardrobe or style.
